Another illustration of an original character from my comic, Xenia. This is a revisit from a previous attempt from a few years ago. No, I'm not gonna show you that one. It's ... less good.
Take five colors and use them in a character design.
As always, start with a scribble. And this time a vague color palette. We're going pastel this time? Oh. Okay, I guess.
Find the lines. Refine the pose. Better make the pose strong to stand in contrast with the pastel pink and purple.
A pencils type layer of some sort. Cleaner lines. Get the feet in line, and the wings angled correctly.
Color flats and light rendering. That black outline around the character is kinda neat. Will I keep it? Eh, probably not.
Put her in a pink void instead of a white void. And maybe do a bit more tinkering with proportions and whatnot.
